I’m getting married next summer Insha’Allah and I know and agree that it’s haram to have music, dancing, free mixing and such things at the wedding but my relatives and groom and his family think it’s not a big deal and insist on having that kind of party. ANSWER: Your father is not obliged to help your husband. It is your husband’s responsibility and not your father’s. It is obvious that your husband is irresponsible and anyone with dignity would not do such things and expect others to help him. This is called begging!
