QUESTION: What should a woman do if she has not kept her skipped fasts(due to menstruation) after Ramadan, eversince her puberty? Does she have to keep all the skipped fasts of past 18 years? Or feed the poors? If to feed, then how many?

ANSWER: There is no expiation for this except to repent to Allah while showing deep remorse and to keep all those missed fasts of the past.

QUESTION: I have been having my menses like this for years my menses is hard to distinguish when it is over and it goes over 15 days for the maximum amount of period, I get flowing blood for approximately 8-10 days then it’s coloured discharge after this should I wait each time to pass the 15 days & continue my prayers & fasts

ANSWER: You are considered to be Mustahadah and you should only stop for the days of your bleeding and then perform ghusul and every prayer time you must wash your private parts, change your soiled pad or underwear and perform wudhu to pray

QUESTION: I decide to finish the Quran during Ramadan, I read one Juz daily. During my periods, can I read the Quran from my mobile and finish my Quran by the end of Ramadan?

QUESTION: There is a possibility that I might get discharge from period middle of the night. Should i wakeup before fajr to check if I can pary Esha and before sunrise if I can pray fajr ?

ANSWER: If you have your menses and you go to bed at night, you need to wake up at fajar time to check whether you have become pure or not. Isha prayer is gone and you don’t need to make it up as you did not see your purity before midnight.

QUESTION: If a woman does ghusl after periods, should she wash every piece of cloth (headscarf, jacket, abaya..) she wore during that time?

ANSWER: No! She must wash only those parts of clothes that are soiled by the impurity.

QUESTION: I used to think that if I have like discharge following menses, Ive to stop praying and fasting for 15 days. So I used to leave fasts for 15 days unintentionally, do I make up them too?

ANSWER: If such discharges appeared after seeing your purity, you need to repeat your missed fasts as you were pure and must fast.

QUESTION: If we take ghusl after menstruation at asr time I have heard we have to pray both dhuhr & asr. Likewise if it’s at night we take ghusl then we have to pray both Maghreb & Isha. Is this true?

ANSWER: No, this is not true. If you saw your purity at Asr time you’re not required to make up dhuhr, likewise, if you saw your purity at Isha time you don’t have to pray both maghrib and isha, you must pray only isha.

ANSWER: The prohibition is only in praying salah, there’s no problem whatsoever in repenting, making dhikr, making dua, reciting the adkhar, reciting Qur’an during menses.
