QUESTION: What can a wife demand from husband while he is divorcing her. Girl doesn’t want to divorce him. Reason for divorce is he and his family doesn’t find the girl mature enough in just 4 months of marriage. Wedding costed much money on girls side in india. Can we take money for the the stuff with which we furnished the apartment.

ANSWER: She has no rights to demand of him except what was given to her as a gift from either family. So, if they gave her furniture, she can take that with her as it is hers.

QUESTION: If parents are against divorce for their daughter because of the society and her being an infertile should she follow their wish ? Husband is very toxic, stingy , doesn’t provide properly, has fit of rage and anger issues. Has no interest on her. Porn addict , chitchat with ladies on phone. ANSWER: A woman doesn’t need her father’s or family’s consent to get divorced. She doesn’t need to obey them.

QUESTION: In Hanafi madhab, when a man says before marriage,”If I marry so and so, she is divorced or any women I marry, is divorced.” Divorce takes place after marriage automatically. According to Quran, Sunnah and Salaf, is this view correct? Although I am a Hanafi, this doesn’t seem right to me.

ANSWER: This is baseless and has no value as one can’t sell a thing he doesn’t possess and likewise, one can’t divorce someone he is not married to Once he marries, he can divorce after the marriage but not before it.

QUESTION: Is it permissible for a husband to divorce his wife if she financially supports her parents that too from her own earnings? My husband divorced me over this, demanding receipts of my account. I managed my expenses independently & never asked financial support from him. QUESTION: In the past my father bought my mother gold. I know that she has to give him back his dowry, when she wants to divorce him. But does my mother need to give him back the gold he used to buy her, besides the dowry?

QUESTION: My sis got married 1nd half yr.after marriage she came to know he’s gay. She got khula recently few days back. She still holds her virginity.She was living with mum only after 3 4 months of marriage. How many days of iddah is applicable? Moulana said 3 mnths… Also can she adore herslef during the iddah period infront of mehrams!?
