ANSWER: Allah forgives all sins when a person repents sincerely before he dies, even if he committed shirk. If he doesn’t repent before he dies, then he is doomed.

QUESTION: I was in a haram relationship 3 yrs ago but Allah swt guided me, I left it. I sincerely repented and it’s been 2 yrs I’m a practising muslim, i pray, fast, I do hijab and left all the haram things. Suddenly after 2 yrs everyone knows about my past relationship, everyone! QUESTION: Sheikh, I got married recently, I dated some men and I hurt them by leaving them and marrying my present husband, I really feel guilty and I have been asking Allah for forgiveness, I don’t have the guts to ask them for forgiveness as I don’t want to create communication again, please sheikh do you think Allah will forgive me or I have to also ask for their forgiveness personally?

ANSWER: You MUST NOT tell them anything nor contact them in any way AT ALL! Block them all and delete anything that reminds you of any of them. Simply repent sincerely to Allah while showing deep remorse and be a good and obedient wife to your husband, fulfill all his rights and move on.
