ANSWER:

She needs to look into her marriage and whether it is worth continuing or not! 

It is mentioned in 4:34 that abandoning a rebellious wife who is disobedient is one of the ways of correcting her behavior. Therefore, a wise woman must reflect on her marriage and whether she is doing something wrong that she must correct before it is too late or the man is not fair and he is wrong. 

It is best to have a councelling where the Sheikh can listen to what the couple have to say individually and then decide who is right and who is wrong and how to fix things up. 

Is a husband allowed to say no or not sleep with his wife without a reason just because he wants to control her or to belittle her. And if he keeps doing this as a form of “punishment,” even if she asks him for intimacy but he keeps denying without an excuse, what should the wife do?
