When a muslim doesn’t know the pillars of Iman well. For example he believes in the books off Allah but he doesn’t really know what those books are except for the Qur’an, the thaurah and the Bible, what is the ruling, is he considered a muslim?

ANSWER: Yes, he is. The concept is to believe in all books of Allah even if he doesn’t know them all!

I watch various of duaat ie zakir naik. He mentioned some scientific errors in the bible with regards to many things. I sometimes relate this to christians. The danger is, that science is being used as a yard stick to judge religion when the truth ie quran is above science. Should we use modern science at all with regards to divinity and knowlegde?

We believe in the Quran and Sunnah. If sciences prove what is mentioned in the Quran, this is fine. But if not, we don’t care, we know the truth from our Lord!

My friend wants to know that a Book of Allah’s commands was also given to Prophet Ibrahim a.s and so can she know the name or should not ask?

Ahlu Al Kitab are the Jews and the Christians. They are considered to be non Muslims and everyone who is not a Muslim is a Kafir. The difference between them and other non Muslims is that we can eat what they slaughter from halal animals and we can marry their chaste women.

There is a hadeeth that states that if the Quran were to be in a piece of leather it wouldn’t be burnt. This indicates that if a person memorizes the Quran Allah will not punish him in hell. There are a number of other hadeeths as well. And Allah knows best
