ANSWER:

You must not agree to this. You can threaten not to attend your own wedding if they insist on doing this. You need to hold your grounds and be steadfast and not compromise your deen. 

I’m getting married next summer Insha’Allah and I know and agree that it’s haram to have music, dancing, free mixing and such things at the wedding but my relatives and groom and his family think it’s not a big deal and insist on having that kind of party. I’m afraid that they will pressure me and guilt me into accepting it. What should I do or say to avoid this?
