QUESTION: I saw your video saying toddlers can play with dolls. If the dolls are kept in the bedroom, can we pray there and will angels enter, or should we cover or remove them before praying? The dolls are for our baby boy and baby girl. What is the ruling on praying in a bedroom with these dolls?

ANSWER: They should be covered or put away before praying in that room. Islam allowed them to play with it and hence, this won’t stop angels from entering the house.

QUESTION: A couple had twins via gestational surrogacy. The embryo was created with the parents gametes and transferred to a surrogate because the mother’s uterus couldn’t support the pregnancy. my question – the baby which they have now is theirs according to Islam i know that in islam surrogacy is haram!

ANSWER: The wife has nothing to do with the child as the mother of the child is the one who was pregnant with it and gave birth to it! What they had done is a heinous crime and sin.

QUESTION: Sometimes during salah when I notice my child is misbehaving or doing something dangerous, I raise my voice a little more than usual to alert her. Is this permissible or is this being distracted in salah?
