QUESTION: During Fajr i decided to pray sunna b4 fard knowing that time was less after completing my prayer i saw that sun had already risen. It has happened many time not in this way but like while i pray Fajr i look out and sun had risen are all these salah valid

ANSWER: What you have done is wrong! If there’s such less time for fajr to end, you must immediately pray fard and pray the first rakah quickly so that you would have prayed in the allocated time. Pray the sunnah after praying fard

QUESTION: Do women get reward for walking to the masjid as in does each footstep wipe away sins I hear a hadith that states this but do not know if it applies to women?

ANSWER: This reward applies to women as well. However, they are rewarded more than that if they were to pray home!

QUESTION: Is it considered having full khushu during salah if a non Arab fully focuses on what he’s saying during salah but has no idea the meaning behind it or is it a must in order to have full khushu you have to know the meaning of what your saying during salah

ANSWER: The khushu is in the heart whether he understands what is being read or not.

QUESTION: If someone prays with minimal wudu, leaves sunnah acts, wears haram clothes, or prays while needing to urinate, scholars may still consider the prayer valid. But if a person persists in these matters in every prayer, are the prayers still valid? Is there any scholarly disagreement on this issue?

ANSWER: The prayer remains valid, though they are loosing a lot of reward that may reach 1/10th of the actual prayer!

QUESTION: It’s been more than 11 yrs since my husband has almost stopped praying except for Jummah and during Ramadan. Have advised him many times. Have asked for a divorce but he doesn’t want to. He lives in my apartment. Is it permissable to kick him out or go to court to divorce him?

QUESTION: I saw your video about women’s prayer where you said that they Should cover their whole body except their face and hands during prayer. What about the forearms? What if some or all of the area of the arm between the elbow and the wrist is uncovered? Will the prayer be valid?

ANSWER: Of course not! Hand means from fingertips till wrist! Below that is called arms and not hands! The arms MUST be fully covered (till the wrists)!

ANSWER: We don’t have an estimate for the length of the prophet’s prayer salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam. 20 minutes can be acceptable if someone is praying alone and he is not repeating things or doing things out of OCD.

QUESTION: The recommendation in quran of Reciting quran is at tahajjud or after fajr? Or do we hv to recite in Salah or except the Salah ?
