QUESTION: If it’s not permissible to do khatam Al Quran for a purpose in Islam. please can someone decide to give out a copy of Quran to a student of knowledge, for him to be reciting daily so he receive rewards for it. ANSWER: No problem in gifting the Qur’an and you will get the reward everytime they recite from it. You must not ask him to make duaa for you after completion

QUESTION: We know that any sin that is commited due to ignorance or forgetfulness is forgiven. So if someone does biddah because of following his parents or community but he doesn’t know that action is biddah. Will he be sinful?

QUESTION: Some people say “Allaah” when a reciter recites in a beautiful manner . Is this permissible or it is Bid’ah?

ANSWER: It is permissible to say such a word when liking something but to say it when the reciter is reciting the Quran like the Egyptians do, this is disrespectful and an innovation.

QUESTION: Someone told my mom that even if your body is fully covered, women should still wear their lower garments above the belly button. If they wear it below the belly button, Allah will burn that area. Therefore it’s haram and they should wear it above the belly button. Is this true?

QUESTION: Some people light a(oil lamp)in their homes on certain days or for pious people, believing it brings blessings They also claim that Allah mentions lamps in the Qur’an and that the Prophet used lamps, Is lighting a lamp with the belief of gaining blessings or as a religious act something proven from the Qur’an or authentic Sunnah? Did the Prophet or the Sahabah ever do this as an act of worship?
