ANSWER: This is not permissible as there’s no pleasing or obedience to anyone at the cost of displeasing and disobedience to Allah! Let them fight few times and after that they will calm down and accept that you don’t participate in such innovations.

QUESTION: Elders tell us to do fixed Tahleel and distribute Quran Juz’ for deceased before 3rd/7th day after death. Is this authentic? If not, what’s ruling on attending? If I refuse, it causes family conflict between father and son. What should I do?

ANSWER: Kamar dar Akrab – there is no such thing in Islam! There are no months or days that are prohibited to get married in!

QUESTION: For morning/evening Adhkar, when reciting the 3 Quls, I cup my hands, blow in them, and recite 3 quls three times. At the end, I blow into my palms again and wipe once both the front and back of my body from head to toe using my palms (hands). Is this correct according to the Sunnah for daily Adhkar, or is this wiping routine only for bedtime? Please advise on the correct Sunnah method.

ANSWER: Wiping over your body is for bedtime. You don’t do it for the normal morning and evening athkaar as this is an innovation!

QUESTION: Inviting an ustadh and madrasa students in a home to do congregation prayers ,recite quran and praying for the prophet in congregation , the ustadh recites some duas and we say ameen together ,they eat . This happens in my home and my family thinks it is a must whenever we slaughter or every year.Is this allowed in islam?
