QUESTION: We know that if a wali of a women is not present her marriage is not valid, but what if she does not speak anymore with her father and has no parental uncles etc. The imam has to be the wali right? But is his prsence in the nikkah sufficient or must he act like a wali doing things like doing a background check on the men etc?

QUESTION: Is it permissible to reject a marriage proposal because the person follows celebrities, including female ones, on Instagram? Will Allah hold me accountable for rejecting a marriage proposal over this.

ANSWER: You are ordered to accept people who are religiously committed and have good moral conduct Someone who follows female celebrities is surely not religiously committed

Shaykh I am in big problem.my parents and family members all are forcing me to marry to that person who doesn’t have beard and his family members don’t take hijab..female pluck their eye brows and then when I will go there, they will force m to do so.I told my parents they are not listening to me and telling me to compromise

They can not force you, try to reach their heart and explain to them that this is not what you want in Life. If they don’t listen you, you must stand in their face and tell them that you will not marry him and that is it,even if they do whatever they want to do!
