ANSWER: Allah is testing them with what they can bear. Millions of people are being tested and they don’t commit suicide! Millions of people become depressed for some time and then they get out of it stronger and better people.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to seek advice from my therapist about my mom emotionally abusing, manipulating, backbiting me, and trying to ruin my image in the family? The abuse is so bad I fear there might be sihr on me. I only want advice and help bc I don’t know how to cope. Would sharing this in therapy be considered backbiting?

ANSWER: No, this is not backbiting as it’s done due to necessity. However, he or she must be a Muslim as you shouldn’t seek advice from non Muslims who don’t know what is halal and what is haram

ANSWER: When dogs bark, we don’t go on our hands and knees and bark back! Let them talk and say whatever they want while you smile in their faces showing them how evil and bad people they are without paying attention to them. After sometime, they will go away and be quiet.

QUESTION: I have severe social anxiety; I don’t like going out of the house at all; I hate being seen by other people. QUESTION: I live in Singapore. Housing is EXPENSIVE. Govt. forcefully takes 20% of salary for housing/medical. MAJORITY of ppl can’t afford to buy/rent with their salary. Is it feasible for all these ppl to remain unmarried to avoid mortgage? This is a real issue we face. I am not asking for an easy way out, but a solution for Muslims living here.

QUESTION: I want to follow the sunnah and speak less. I only want to speak little say things that are beneficial.
