QUESTION: My husband is asking me to help financially, I’m very busy with household chores, teaching my son as we didn’td enroll him in school yet, I have a baby of 2 years old, and we do hifz, all these things take up lot of time, but still my husband is expecting me to take tuitions and help him in houshold expenditure, please advice what should I do and what salad use to do after migration.

ANSWER: He has no right, none whatsoever in asking you to contribute in the expenditure of the house! Allah has given the sole responsibility to the man of maintaining the financial aspects!

QUESTION: If a man gets 2 proposals and both of these proposals according to islam. Both girls are equally islamic but 1 is wealthy and the other is not so wealthy. So if the man chooses that girl which is wealthier than the other girl, is it sinful or allowed?

ANSWER: If he intends to utilize her wealth to his advantage, such a person is not a real man!

QUESTION: In India,muslims have adopted many hindu cultures like,demanding huge amount of dowry from girl’s father,doing unislamic marriage rituals like lots of non-mahrams coming to see&check the girl, baraat,free mixing and so on plus most of the people in our country have wrong aqeedah.In such a scenario what should the girl do – should she accept or reject the marriage?

ANSWER: You must be firm & not accept any such rituals in your wedding and make a lot of dua to Allah to facilitate for you to get a practicing spouse with correct aqeedah.

QUESTION: I wear niqab with gloves n believe these are obligatory. is it permissible to marry a man who takes from trustworthy scholars bin baz, ibn uthaymeen, al albani etc. but doesn’t believe that niqab and gloves are obligatory? what if i have a daughter in the future (i want her to wear niqab of course)?

ANSWER: No problem in marrying him providing he does not force you to take it off! Once you get a daughter and she reaches the age of niqab, you by then should have been able to change his mind with love and care.

QUESTION: I have repented sincerely for the sin adultery and my husband said he forgave me and we started living peacefully. But sometimes he keeps on bringing up it while I’m trying to forget that incident. Is he sinful for this?

ANSWER: As they are not in the state of Ihram, there is no problem in consummating the marriage or conducting the marriage contract.

QUESTION: Me and my husband will get a divorce soon. I had to explain to my family the reasons. And one of the reasons was my husband’s pornography consumption. ANSWER: Of course you are sinful! No one forced you to expose such a sin that was between him and Allah. Your family had no right to demand to know!

QUESTION: Me and my wife are due to move into our new house soon. My wife has a money saved and we agreed to use that money for refurbishment before moving in. ANSWER: Absolutely not! Her money is hers only and she is not obliged to give you a penny of it. It is a man’s job to provide for his wife, NOT the other way around.

QUESTION: Living in a Hanafi-majority country, finding a suitor from Ahl e Sunnah wal Jama’ah is challenging. I may encounter pious Hanafi women who don’t share the same aqidah. Should I focus solely on searching for women with correct aqidah, or is it permissible to consider these pious Hanafi women for marriage?
