QUESTION: A teenage girl lives in a house surrounded by many buildings, with windows and a balcony. She does not enter the balcony, but spends time in the kitchen, dining room, and bedroom near the windows. Her parents say she doesn’t need to cover her head or awrah at home and that anyone who looks at her is sinful, not her. Can she walk freely near these windows? What should she do?

ANSWER: What they are saying is not true! If people can see her through such windows, she is sinful for not covering herself properly or putting curtains on the windows.

QUESTION: ‎If I want to meet some old friends after a while and I am one that plans the meeting in a cafe or invites people but there are some who will probably not ovbserve the proper hijab, will I be sinful for inviting/planning?

QUESTION: I have a shirt where is written symbol g >/\ v (then below it is written) : God is greater than the highs and the lows. I didn’t know what it meant, but online, I see people with that symbol as tatooes,as part of their faith. Should I avoid wearing this shirt as haram to imitate kafirs.

QUESTION: What should I do with clothes that I no longer wear but that do not properly cover the awrah, if I can’t find a sister to give them to because I’m afraid she might wear them outside? Is it permissible for me to throw them away?

QUESTION: I wanted to ask if my prayer as a woman is valid if during sujood my prayer dress rides up and my socks can be seen? Like my feet and their shape can be seen but are covered with socks, I tried to cover them fully with my dress but it always lifts slightly during sujood.

QUESTION: I wear abaya outside, it’s long so it sometimes touches roads and washroom floor as well although I try my best to tuck it up to prevent touching it to the floor. On seeing, I find traces of dust on it and nothing else.Can I pray in such abaya while I’m outside or should I carry a different outer gown (which sometimes become difficult as I already carry a baby bag and handbag a with me)
