QUESTION: Does it work to ask Allah in sujood or whenever to grant me my requests which I asked for in previous prayers or out of prayers? Because if I have many requests, it would be easier to ask Allah for them all once. Like in taraweeh, now I ask Allah to grant me my taraweeh prayer requests.

ANSWER: I don’t know. To me it seems very lazy!

QUESTION: Can Allah make Dua come true, even if it is not good for me? Because one of my Dua came true and now I feel it is not good for me. Or should it be good because Allah made it true?

ANSWER: This is possible and this is why we are ordered not to make duaa against ourselves, children or wealth.

QUESTION: Is there any benefit in remaining in the spot i offered salat? For example I offer the asr salat at home (because the masjid is too far away) and remain after the salat sitting, doing dhikr and reading quran. I know there is reward in case of offering the fajr salat in the masjid and remaining in ones spot but is there any reward for other prayers?

ANSWER: The reward is for all prayers, even when prayed at home.

QUESTION: We are advised to do istighfar more often. Someone said to me that it’s important to recite darood inrahimi before and after recting the istighfar (so it is to be accepted).Is it so?

ANSWER: No. When making dua, you should send salutations on Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, not when making dhikr.

QUESTION: Do we need to keep a count on our fingers when we do dhikr like exact 33 times SubhanAllah or we can just do dhikr with our mouth?

ANSWER: The sunnah is to keep count with your fingers. If you are certain of the number without keeping count with your fingers, this is fine.

QUESTION: Whenever I wanna ask Allah something, these thoughts come to my mind that I’m being ungrateful. Eg, I have been struggling with extreme hairfall for a long time so if i make Dua to Allah to make it go away, my mind immediately reminds me that its worse for others yet you’re still crying so you’re being ungrateful. Is it okay to make Dua for such futile matters w so much passion

ANSWER: Yes, there is no problem in making dua even for a smallest problem you have. You would be ungrateful if you do not make duaa as Allah becomes angry when you don’t ask Him

QUESTION:If a person goes for hajj from India to makkah and in makkah he had 20-22 days stay. Will he offer qasr prayer ( shortening prayers) there

ANSWER: He can pray qasr until he is settled down and he must pray in full when praying in the masjid in congregation.

QUESTION: I was praying and I had a runny nose and sometimes I dont have tissue with me and when its really cold I have a runny nose and sometimes it comes on the prayer mat and I continue to pray. Are my prayers valid.

ANSWER: Yes. This does not impact your prayers.

QUESTION: I’ve read some ahadith which talk about the virtue of going early to Friday Jum’ah prayers and sitting close to the imam.Is this also the case for other congregational prayers. That it is better to stand close to the imam? Or is anywhere on the first row okay? Right or left of the imam? Kindly clarify.JazakAllah khairan for all your efforts!

ANSWER: The closer you are to the imam in the first row, the better it is.

QUESTION: My question is i am confuse about adhkaar after maghrib salah i read all adhkaar now when i come to 3 quls i am confuse should i have to read surah iqhlas 3 times , surah falaq 3 times and surah naas e times or i have to read it only one time.

ANSWER: After all fard salah, these are recited once but after fajr and Asr or maghrib, they can be combined with morning and evening adhkar hence reciting it thrice is done.
