ANSWER: Allah likes it when His servant is consistent in an act of worship, even if its very little, however no problem in praying tahajjud in order to make dua for something as Allah loves it when His servant shows his need and poverty to Him.

QUESTION: Sheikh a few days ago i asked a question about making dua after every fard prayer being biddah or not and you asked me to quote the hadiths, so the duas are: اللهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكُرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ and أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ (3) اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

ANSWER: The first is a duaa to be said before salam during the prayer itself. The second one is thikr and not duaa

QUESTION: You said in one of your videos that it’s not appropriate to talk to Allah like you talk to your friend. So is it not ok to to talk to Allah informally (but with respect) to share with Him our worries, sorrows, happiness or tensions?

ANSWER: No, it is not. He azza wa jal already knows your worries, sorrows, happiness and intentions. You must invoke him with humility, showing your poverty, knocking on the door and make Duaa begging Him to solve your problems and not to vent to Him like that.

QUESTION: Is it true that we should say Bismillah when we look at yourselves in the mirror to avoid jin possession?

ANSWER: This is not true. We should say bismillah whenever we take off our clothes as it is a barrier between our awrah and the eyes of Jinn.

QUESTION: How many times do we say this dud before sleeping “Allahumma qini ‘adhabaka yawm tab’athu’ibadaka” is it 3 times or once because in hadith of Hafsa she said that prophet used to say it 3 times while other companions didn’t say the times the Prophet used to say the dua.

ANSWER: No problem in that but you must not say it during prayers or prescribed salutations.

QUESTION: Sheikh, If I recite three Quls after any salah or before sleep then do I have to recite Bismillah or Au’dubillah at first and between two Quls??

ANSWER: Yes, it is highly recommended to seek refuge in Allah once in the beginning and to say bismillah before reciting each surah

QUESTION: There’s a dua that if we see someone in difficulty and says that we will never suffer from same difficulty “Alahmadulilah hilazi aafni mimabtalaqa bihi wafadalani ala kaseerin miman khalaqa tafdeela “ is this also applies seeing someone in difficulty on social media?
