Is it permissible to trim the moustache with a razor? By trimming I mean removing some hairs of the moustache with a razor blade, not completely shave it including the hair roots.

ANSWER: Removing it completely with a razor is mutilation. If you mean trimming it with a machine which doesn’t completely remove it, this is permissible.

ANSWER: If you’re a female it is not permissible at all for you to visit anyone’s grave.

So I have UK nationality & have lived in the UK for several years.I was born there.& have children.My spouse and I paid taxes in UK and as his widow I am entitled to a benefit providing I live in UK.I’m in UAE for work, my parents live UK,it is still very much my home. ANSWER: If you don’t live there and the condition to claim this amount is to be living in the UK then claiming this is not permissible as this is cheating and Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam said a person who cheats is not from among us.

ANSWER: The haram money is only haram for the person earning it and not for anyone else. However, you should advice him about it’s prohibition but if he doesn’t listen, the sin is on him alone and you and your children can use that money.

There is a girl who has some male friends. One of those male friends has become nearly a brother for her and another one is like a sibling. She says they are not doing anything wrong, just supporting each other. She says they are sent to her by Allah since they help her a lot in times of need. I was planning on joining Bangladesh army, where the beard has to be shaved for 4 years during training. However, after training they allow the officers to keep the beard. Is it halal to apply for the army in such a scenario? What is the ruling?

ANSWER: No problem in doing this at home and praying with it. The prohibition is in going out with hair tied up like this.

So when we order pizza, are we obliged to say use a clean cutter. Are we then obliged to say use clean gloves because they serve pepperoni pizza. What if they just use meat that’s not slaughter Islamically? Should we still ask them to use clean cutter?
