Usually the parents and other family members disown the transgenders, so they do not have mahrams. So how can they go for hajj or umrah? Also, transgenders mean that their gender does not correspond with their birth sex, so they’re neither fully men nor women, right? So do they still need a mahram? Im so confused?

ANSWER: The haram income is only haram for the person earning it and not haram for you or anyone else. So, you can accept it. But if you don’t want it, you can spend it in ways of charity like supporting authentic Islamic sites and TV channels to propagate Islamic knowledge.

Sheikh here in Pakistan,very old women (60+) place their hand on the shoulder or on the head of men when they meet each other as a dua . Is this permissible. If I don’t allow her , she feels very bad and consider it a rude beahavior. What should I do? Is this permissible?

ANSWER: You must not listen to your parents in this regard as keeping a beard is not an option, rather it’s mandatory. However, you must be diplomatic, respectful and never raise a voice in front of them as this is a major sin. You must be firm in your approach though and not shave.

Is it allowed for a person to go to the bathroom when the athan is going on(whether to relieve oneself, just do wudu or for other reasons)? Is there evidence for prevention of this?

ANSWER: Athan has nothing to do with answering the call of nature. You can enter the washroom whenever you want to whether the athan is going or not! What is prohibited is to answer the athan or making dhikr etc.
