I am working in a hotel. They sell alcohol in restaurant. In our kitchen we are not using alcohol at all during cooking, because our chef is Muslim. Is my salary haram? …I asked General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments, so they give me fatwa that my salary is halal. I think this answer was not enough for me. What is correct answer according to Quran and Sunnah?

We Indian’s have 1 Breakfast by the name IDLI. Rice & Urad dal (A Kind of Lentil) is soaked overnight and the next day it is grind ed to a paste fermented for 8 to 9 hours. After Fermantation, paste Quantity will increase it is steamed in a vessel…. …For this fermentation we call it as Khamr . So can we eat this Idli. Is it Halal or Prohibited? If someone follows the opinion of scholars that eating from haraam wealth of a person is not allowed then will it be ok for him that he gifts another gift in return of equivalent amount if he eats from them… …For eg:if I eat from someone whose wealth is haraam and I in return provide food for him with the intention that its equivalent to that. Will it be considered valid?
