QUESTION: Let’s say a man decided to give his wife pocket money every so often and a few years later he decided to ask for it back (e.g. either they divorced, or it’s simply that he wants those money etc.), is the wife oblige to give back what’s left of the money?

QUESTION: Is it a must for the guardian of the girl to know the mahr for marriage. What if girl wants something of less value as it’s her marriage but the father wants high value expensive. How can we surpass this? Does the mahr need to have witnesses?

ANSWER: Yes, her father (guardian) needs to know the mahr and this must be registered in the marriage contract and the witnesses must also know about it.
