No one can force you to marry someone you don’t like. However, you can’t marry anyone without the approval of your father. 

Therefore, a bird at hand is better than 10 on the tree! If this suitor you had agreed to is a righteous practicing Muslim, you should go ahead and accept it as the one you may like might not be acceptable to your father and you would waste your life pursuing something that was not meant to be.
