Is it permissible to sit with an opposie gender in the buss. Many times I sit alone an a woman comes and sits next to me. I dont have any desires hence it’s public and I live in sweden.

ANSWER: It’s best if you get up and not sit beside a non mahram woman but if it’s unavoidable then you must do your best to not sit closely and you must lower your gaze.

Shaikh, in asian countries like India, Pakistan & Bangladesh people keep their children names with addition of Mohammad before it like “Mohammad Owais”, “Mohammad Sadiq” etc. So my question is whether my name is Mohammad or Owais? What will i be called in Arabian style like Mohammad Owais ibn Mohammad Sadiq or Owais ibn Sadiq? Please clarify this.

ANSWER: This concept of keeping the name Muhammad before the actual name has no basis in islam. Only one name should be given to the child, followed by his father’s name and then the father’s surname. You need to choose to delete one of these two names.

I wanted to know if it will be allowed for a girl to give speech in school debate competition using mic. There will be few male teachers and judges but majority audience will be female.

ANSWER: This is not permissible as it defies the purpose of hijab!

My parents had interest in collecting old wine bottles; sometimes used some of them for storing water. They didnt consume wine, but didnt know that collection isnt allowed. Now we have a lot of bottles in our house. Throwing these away feels like wasting. Is it okay to use them for decoration? What about keeping water in them since these are very old and repeatedly washed?

ANSWER: Using such bottles for decoration is like endorsing wine and bringing a bad name to your family. Any muslim would doubt you for this!

My question is that is it not allowed to crack fingers.i mean sometime due to pain I crack my finger but my mom says we shouldn’t coz it’s not allowed in islam.is it true???

ANSWER: No problem in cracking fingers. You should not do this while praying salah.

If a person just sees or reads inappropriate stuff which contains sexual and intimate activities after that the ghusal will be obligatory or just wudu is sufficient?

ANSWER: Nothing is required if he has not broken his wudu or their is no ejaculation. However It is not permissible to see or read such stuff. This will be zina of eyes and is prohibited in Islam.

I have some light beard hear and there and iam not shaving it to have sunnah. But my parents are trying to force me to shave to have much more darker beard .they are saying to look much more buetiful and darker .what to do ??

In my country there is a store where you can buy things using your bankcard, where they take Money from your bankaccount via your card when you buy things. Now, when you buy using the card you can also ask for cash from your bankaccount via the store, so you for example buy for 10 dollars via the card, and ask for 15 dollars in cash, is this kind of a loan? is this permissble?
