ANSWER:

This concept of keeping the name Muhammad before the actual name has no basis in islam. Only one name should be given to the child, followed by his father’s name and then the father’s surname. You need to choose to delete one of these two names. 

Shaikh, in asian countries like India, Pakistan & Bangladesh people keep their children names with addition of Mohammad before it like “Mohammad Owais”, “Mohammad Sadiq” etc. So my question is whether my name is Mohammad or Owais? What will i be called in Arabian style like Mohammad Owais ibn Mohammad Sadiq or Owais ibn Sadiq? Please clarify this.
