Is it permissible to use pirated software. Also, what is the ruling of using books that are free on the Internet which are normally sold at a cost? These books are generally copied by someone and then they are uploaded if I’m correct.

I know there was a sahih Hadith of Hudhaifa saying the prophet urinate standing When I said this my parents got angry saying im lying on the prophet and they are rejecting this Hadith because of heavy influence by Somali Sufi sheikhs but they are not Sufi. Any advice on how to deal with them ?

ANSWER: The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam prohibited us from breathing in a vessel. Blowing over food is not permissible as it contaminates it and makes it disliked to others eating after you. But if no one is going to share it with you, you can blow on it.

What is the islamic rule on buying fish,birds,cats as pets??.is it okay if we keep birds in cage in our house??

ANSWER: No problem in keeping these animals as pets, providing you take good care of them. It is not permissible at all to buy & sell cats or dogs. You can buy the other mentioned things without a problem.

If I lower my gaze and listen to nasheeds to block it the music can I go to a free mixing gym ? I live in a kaafir country and segregated gyms are far from me and rare.

My friend needs money to purchase goods that he will sell to another company.He is requesting me and others to give him money as an investor. From his profit,he will take specific percentage (as the project was his hardwork) & remaining percentage he will give to investors based on amount invested. If he doesn’t get profit, we will not get any profit. Is this transaction Halal?

ANSWER: This is permissible providing that those investing money know that if the investment has total loss in money, they will lose their money and can’t ask him to return it.
