ANSWER: A lot of scholars say that it is most likely to be on the 27th and some companions even swore that it is on that night. However, the most authentic opinion is that it moves from night to the other every year.

ANSWER: One must not look at the sky while he is in salah. Looking at the sky in general is permissible. It might be disrespectful to make Duaa and look at the sky at the same time as one should be submissive.

There is this game where you can choose characters which are 3D human soldiers and use them to play. Is this allowed in islam or is it imitating Allah as you are using the character and controlling it and giving life to it?

ANSWER: You must not carry any flashy handbags that would draw attention and defy the purpose of hijab. Wearing a backpack would show the size of your shoulders, waste, and chest. If you only carry it and not wear it and it is not attracting men to look at you, this is permissible.

Is taking money out of parents wallet without their permission/ informing them considered as stealing?

ANSWER: Of course this is stealing and one of the major sins in Islam!

Sometimes a residue of toothpaste stays of your mouth stays at the back of the tongue. Would it break your fast if you swallow some mucus that has some toothpaste in it without knowing before the Iqamah of the Fajr prayer? I’ve cleaned it completely before the Salat.

ANSWER: If it is just the taste, this doesn’t impact the fasting. But if it is actual toothpaste, this breaks it.

Sheikh, is a person sinful if he spends the large amounts of money he needs to spend (valid) with the intention that if He delays spending it then he will have to give zakat on it.So he spends it before the date he calculates the zakat.

Sheikh now as i’m writing this..Alhumdulillah i’m fasting..but May Allah (swt) forgive..i overslept during my suhoor time & missed it..but asap i got up, fajr adhaan had just been called a couple of minutes ago..so Alhumdulillah i made my wudu..prayed both my sunnah & fard fajr sala’ah..& made my niyaah to fast today..& before sleeping d day before i hd a niyaah to fast..to that is my fast valid?

ANSWER: Your fast is valid. It is sufficient to make an intention at the beginning of the month for fasting throughout the month of ramadan. Making the intention verbally is an innovation.
