Is it in the sunnah to pray nafilah salah sitting?

ANSWER: No.

It has been narrated in the hadith that it is shirk to equate Allah with the creation using the conjunctive ‘and’. But we say “Allah and His Messenger” in different sentences, even in prayers. Please explain about this to remove my confusion.

ANSWER: It is maghreb till fajr. However, night prayers begins after isha prayer.

My first rakah is void if i don’t say takbire tahrima i.e. Allahuakbar so my question is in which rakah should i sit in tashhahud if i remember it in my first rakah after reciting the surah fatiyah, as my 1st rakah is void so my 2nd rakah would be the 1st and i should sit in 1st tashahhud in the 3rd rakah which will automatically be my 2nd because my 1st was void and do sajda sahu?

ANSWER: Your whole prayer is invalid if you didn’t say the inaugural takbeer! You must start the prayer all over again.

Sheik if a woman did not make up her missed fast before next Ramadan, what should she do? Should she feed 1 miskeen and fast?

ANSWER: If she didn’t make them up until the following Ramadan was due without a legitimate reason, she is sinful for that. She cannot give fidya for such missed fasts as she needs to make them up whenever it is possible for her.

I have a chronic illness (lupus). I’ve been diagnosed from 9. I’m now 17. I didn’t know the signs of reaching puberty and only thought I reached it from 13, so I didn’t pay fidya before that. With my illness, there is no cure, I take daily medication, sometimes less or more, but I cannot stop the medication. I can become in remission, when I feel healthy I fast, and sick I don’t. Can I pay fidya?

ANSWER: If there are days you can fast, you must make up the missed fasts without paying any fidya. Feeding is only for those who are chronically ill and can’t make these days up.
