QUESTION: I perform the quickest version of Ghusl and want to verify its validity. I make the intention in my heart, say Bismillah verbally, rinse my mouth and nose three times, and then stand under the shower ensuring water touches every single part of my body from head to toe. Does this fulfill the requirements for Ghusl to be accepted, or must I follow the full Sunnah method?

ANSWER: This is a valid quick ghusl. No need to say bismillah aloud, you must not verbalize it when there is a toilet in the washroom.

QUESTION: I go to a quran class and there people keep their notebooks on top of their quran/juz is this fine because i heard the quran does lanat on these type of people

ANSWER: Its not permissible to keep anything on the Qur’an but what you mentioned about Qur’an cursing those people is not authentic and its baseless!

QUESTION: If a parent complains about their child to their spouse simply to vent their frustration does this l count as backbiting? In other words, if they are merely complaining about the child and expressing their frustration to their spouse, and the child would dislike what was said if they heard it, would this be considered backbiting?

ANSWER: This is not backbiting if they say it to discuss & make a plan to discipline the child.

QUESTION: Allah’s actions always follow His wisdom, He does not act without a purpose and nothing happens without His permission.However, if someone throws a stone and it lands somewhere and it could have landen cm elswhere,or one randomly sees a specefic Person,would it be kufr to say this has no special meaning or wisdom?without denyieng the wisdom of Allah,has every little thing a wisdom and porpuse?

ANSWER: I don’t answer such philosophical questions as these kind of questions serve no purpose and won’t get you closer to Allah, in fact this can deviate you from the correct path & aqeedah!

QUESTION: So basically I know birthday parties are Haram but my freind is having a birthday party like a week AFTER her birthday. It’s just a treat where she gives a high tea as a treat and she cuts cake that’s all that goes on. Last time there was a little music. But is it permissable for me to go.

ANSWER: If you have reason to believe it is stolen, you must not facilitate or collaborate with them in sin.

QUESTION: Sometimes my dad says bad things about people. I’m afraid it might come under backbiting. I know if I try to tell him that he shouldn’t do this, he might get angry. When my mom told him to stop one time, he got angry and stopped talking to her for sometime. So can we just listen to him until he stops without telling him to stop?

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible, otherwise you will be sinful too. You should discreetly try to change the topic, but if he doesn’t stop then you must leave the room.

QUESTION: Sheikh, when I attended the janazah prayer for my grandmother rahimahallah the imam said the second takbir before I could even finish reciting the first ayahs. ANSWER: If you did not recite the fatiha, it is not valid. But if you had managed to complete it and then followed him, it is valid.

QUESTION: Should we Sadia everything which belongs to deceased person , his all things which he was using or can keep something for ourselves.
