QUESTION: I know that it is not liked to do nazar but what if a person wants something so badly, can we do it ? It is not liked, does it mean we will be sinful? Also, my teacher said that nothing happens because of nazar, everything will happen according to your taqdeer, is it true? Are we sinful even for thinking about making nazar?

ANSWER: No normal person, let alone a Muslim would think about putting an evil eye (nazar) on a person intentionally!! Of course this is something totally prohibited and sinful!

ANSWER: It is not permissible to participate willingly in an interest based saving scheme as this is riba, even if one donates the riba to charity.

QUESTION: Since the beginning of marriage,I have always found my husband delaying his Salah till the last moment. ANSWER: If you have children in the house, you can address them and teach them about the importance of prayer and the great reward of perfecting it while he is listening and this would be indirect advice.

QUESTION: Islam teaches children to be obedient to their parents. But what about parents who can afford to provide food and medical treatment for their children but refuse to do so? The children have to fight with them just to receive these things. Such parents seem pleased only when their children obey them, regardless of whether their demands are right or wrong. Will they accountable for this behaviour?

QUESTION: While praying behind the imam, I had completed Surah al-Fatihah and was reciting the additional surah when the imam went into ruku. I continued briefly, then went into ruku, but I couldn’t complete the transition takbir (“Allahu Akbar”). The imam stood up while I was already in ruku. Is my rak’ah valid?

ANSWER: If you and the Imam were in the ruku position at the same time, the prayer is valid but you are sinful for delaying your ruku like this

QUESTION: Woke up 14 mins before magrib ended. After wudu, 2 mins were left. I was in shorts with parents in the room. Out of shyness, I didn’t pray wrapped in a blanket thers whicg was the thing that cam in my mind but rushed downstairs to wear pants. I missed the prayer time. Did leaving the room due to embarrassment/fear of people cause shirk or riya i get soo many thoughts like this everyday please help
