Is my rakat valid if the imam goes to rukoo while I still have a few words to say in fatiha, then I go down to rukoo and maybe 1-2 seconds later the imam says “Sami’ Allah…”. I still say the tasbeeh and then stand up before he goes for sujood

ANSWER: As long as you and the imam were in the ruku position together even for a few seconds, the rakat is valid. But if you are not certain, you must add another rakah after the salam.

While making adkhar after salah, when we recite ayat al kursi and other surahs (falaq, nas) should we say BismiAllah before ayat al kursi and between each surah or one time saying BismiAllah is enough? Please advise

ANSWER: It is highly recommended to say it before every surah. You don’t say it before ayatul kursi.

Few days ago a boy cursed Islam so I protested and told him that it was wrong. He said sorry but he didn’t regretted that so I stopped talking with him. Now can I play cricket if he plays too? And can I play with people who still talk and play with him after knowing that he cursed Islam (but they don’t think the thing he did was right)?? and what if he doesn’t play with us?

ANSWER: If he made a mistake and apologized for it, this is sufficient and you don’t have to monitor him 24/7 as you are not the religious police and you are not his mother either!

Is it biddah to raise hands and make du’a after fard salah in congregation only or does it apply even when a person is praying individually?

ANSWER: This applies to when praying individually as well.

Sheikh my friend became an apostate, I tried talk to them for months they show no willing to change. Then I stop talking and they contact me, and I decide I’lll try again and be nice to them for the purpose of encouraging them towards the deen. Is this permissible ?

ANSWER: You should cut all communications with them and totally boycott them as it is a waste of time and they will only harden your heart with their disbelief and doubts. Run!

If a son prays for his parents after every Salaah & before going to sleep; will he be considered an obedient to his parents to Allah (SWT) on the day of Judgement?

ANSWER: Praying for them is a good deed but it must not be connected to his prayers or before going to bed! Praying for them has no value if he is during the day an undutiful disobedient son!

ANSWER: No problem, however she must conceal this while going out or in front of non mahram men as it’s part of adornment.

Beside my house is another house beside which is a mosque. For taraweeh and Eid Salah a speaker is connected from the mosque to my house and some women come and pray at my house(with the intention of praying behind the imam in congregation). Is this allowed? And is there Salah valid? Will I be sinful if I connect the speaker for them?

ANSWER: This is not permissible and the salah is not valid because one must be in the congregation with connecting rows for it to be valid.

Sheikh, what should I do if I am reading or listening to the Quran during the times where it is prohibited to pray, like from example from Asr to Maghreb, and then while reading a verse comes which requires me to do prostration or sujood, should I do, sujood or remain seated?

ANSWER: No problem in this. You are prohibited from praying at such times and not from sujood.

Can you please tell me If a man takes his wife to a restaurant and she wears niqab, how can she eat?

ANSWER: She can either eat “under” her niqab by slightly opening it from the side or you sit in a secluded area with her like a family room/area. If none of this works, stay at home, this is the best option.
