There is FB page that contains harmful statements against our religion. That person insult our Nabi, the Quran and Allah. So, I replied to one of his post asking him to refrain from insulting Islam and he started arguing with me, asking me to burn the Quran, prove me wrong and blah blah. I want to keep arguing until he stop posting bad stuff abt Islam. Should I keep going ? Or just ignore it

ANSWER: Ignore it and never visit such pages! Giving them recognition like this gives them fame and ability to spread their evil.

I had not given zakath from past 2 years as I wasn’t aware about it. But now when I came to know about it my husband refuses to pay saying in shafi mazhab no zakath for the gold we wear and he wants me to wait until june when he’ll return hometown and discuss with scholars. So kindly let me know is it sinful to wait until June or should I pay now without letting him know.

ANSWER: Pay it without letting him know as this is your gold, not his.

I have heard a hadith that status of a deceased person is elevated by praying of his son. In this regard what we have to pray. As my father has passed 4 years back, I just want to know what i have to do Or pray, so that my fathe’s status gets elevated and his sins be forgiven. I am his daughter. And is this only for sons? I saw a video of a man who showed a living camel the body of another dead camel who was slaughtered for Eid. I told my baba that the meat is Haram since animals shouldn’t see their own type slaughter. However I fear speaking without knowledge, and I fear Allah for saying such a statement and saying “it’s haram.” Can you clarify what the man did was haram or Makrooh?

ANSWER: You have indeed spoken without knowledge! The meat doesn’t become haram but it’s against the etiquette of slaughtering to slaughter an animal in front of other animals like this but definitely the meat is halal!

ANSWER: You must not go out in such mixed gatherings as this is not permissible. Islam promotes and mandates segregation between non mahrams.

Iam from india.please pray for me to pass my final xam result. Is there sin in wearing graduation gown ( as now it has become a normal among people. And most degree has adopted it)?.i would like to know it so if it is haram ,i can find a way to not attend the graduation ceremony by making some excuses.

ANSWER: This is an issue of dispute. I am inclined to say that this is not part of the Muslims’ traditions or customs and it is entirely imitating the disbelievers. If there is music and free mixing, there is no doubt that this is totally prohibited.

There are some games or series which needs some money to be downloaded,but there are also some free versions of these things open for all in internt. Is it permissible for me to download the free version for only personal usages and not for mas production and profit?
