ANSWER: This is not permissible at all as it’s an innovation.

ANSWER: The prayer is valid but you are less in reward for doing that and risk falling into hypocrisy as this is the time they pray it in.

ANSWER: No problem.

I believe that I need Islamic counselling for my stress and anger management issues that I am struggling with in my marriage and my mother says that I should not go to strangers for counselling and instead take counsel from parents. I have done that also but it hasn’t worked. And to make things better I think I need to be more proactive which is why I am thinking of Islamic counselling.

ANSWER: There’s no concept of meditation in Islam. Even while praying, we are required to keep our eyes open and pray with full concentration unlike meditation where people close their eyes and meditate in such a way that they are not even aware of their surroundings and go into a trance.
