I wanted to ask if buying raffles organised by charities are permissible, or by an organiser gives a high percentage (e.g. 80%) of money raised to charity. Or is this classed as gambling?

ANSWER: If this person’s intention is to give to charity, he should do that without participating in dubious events and without mixing that with winning something as this is a way of gambling

when I was not a practicing muslim I gave one of my friend a relationship advice and they got back together but when I started practicing islam I asked Allah for forgiveness. So my question is should I tell my friend to get out of the Haram relationship? And he is a non mahram to me and I stopped talking to him. What should I do? Am I still accountable for them sinning?

ANSWER: It’s sunnah to recite at least one juz daily and you can divide it throughout the day.

I was wondering if I’m allowed to fast everyday or if this is a bidah?

ANSWER: You must not do this as this prohibited without a legitimate reason. Fast every alternate day, like the fasting of Dawood Alayhissalam.

Is there a rule/permission in Islam where the parents can have their son/daughter get talaq done? Ex, if a mother doesn’t want her son to marry someone out of the race and he yet still marries her with the bride’s guardians approval, can the mother of the groom bring sheikh or etc and have them get divorced without the couple wanting to get divorced anyway?

ANSWER: If this is not assisting her on haram and you are doing the least of the two evils by driving her and not letting her go with a non mahram, in sha Allah you are not sinful as long as you are reminding her of Allah’s sharia.

I’m almost 20 years old and I’m still afraid of dark and being alone. I believe that I have a very weak heart. How do I make it strong so that I’m not scared of simple things. Is there any dua for that?

I want to ask about zakat of my jewellery ( as mehar ) does a woman have to pay it. Is it her responsibility? can she take it from her husband especially if she has no source of income of her own.
