My husband and I are practicing Muslims as we should be. Alhamdulillah. My husband grows beard long. But when his acquaintances call him “Mutawwa” seeing his looks, he feels he isn’t of that high level practicing Muslim and so as not be (Riya) showing off Muslim, He trims off his beard making it very short. I hate it,we argue over this matter. Pls advice him Shaykh.

ANSWER: What he is doing is wrong! Ask him if it is fine if you take off your hijab because you are not of that high level of a Muslim woman !

Sheikh on Instagram an image popped up saying “dark fortune cookie” and I read the fortune but it was nothing but an insult no fortune. It happened all in like 3 seconds. I live in Sydney Australia. I am using Bank account here. When we save money into the account, they pay some percentage of interest fee to me. I have asked them not to pay me that amount, but they say they can not change it. Here, every Bank has the same policy and its the necessity here to use the bank account.
