ANSWER: We are talking about level in righteousness and Iman and not in forgiveness. The sins have been forgiven and such a person won’t go to hell, but will he be in the same level of someone who didn’t sin? Of course not!

ANSWER: No, this is not the same at all. Flute is a musical instrument which is prohibited to play in Islam by Allah while the chirping of the bird is a natural sound created by Allah and permitted by Allah.

Is it suffienct to wash wadi and madhi by taking a handful of water and putting it over it? Before I used to just wipe them off with wet hands until no more whiteness remains is that wrong?

ANSWER: If you are referring to your private part, this would be sufficient. But if the impurity is on your clothes, you need to wash impurities off and squeeze it until it is gone. With mathi, sprinkling it with water and running it over it is sufficient.

Does the imam say rabbana lakal hamd when he is leading a prayer in congregation, or does not not say it at all?

ANSWER: He does say it.

Sheikh, I know that sujood at-tilawah is not mandatory while I am reciting Quran. I can skip if I wish. But if I am praying and one of the verses comes which has a sujood, local imam said that we can skip it, perform ruku & do regular sujood which will suffice. Please enlighten me about its validity & what can or can’t be done in this regard.

ANSWER: What your imam has said is correct. It’s not mandatory to make sujood at tilawah even while praying. It’s a highly recommended sunnah.

I have a thoub which is above my ankles however when I go into sajood it ends up covering the back of my ankle, is wearing this thoub allowed in and out side the prayer
