My son in law feels sad giving rent like he is wasting money so someone advised him to buy a house on mortgage, even though he knows its haram, they gave him various logics. I want to convince him, can i explain that the rent you pay will count as charity towards your wife and children.

ANSWER: Tell him that by paying rent, you are rewarded for it as it is for halal accommodation. When you buy a house in mortgage which is riba based, you are fighting Allah and His messenger and Allah Will wage war against you as it is a major sin islam.

My husband missed 3 fastings due to corona last year but he forgot to complete it after Ramadan. Now he remembers he had to complete 3 fastings. Can he fast 3 or 4 days before Ramadan? Or can he complete it after the end of this Ramadan? Pls guide

ANSWER: He can fast even a day before Ramadan because these are mandatory missed fasts. If due to any reason he’s unable to do that then he must fast after this Ramadan.

When We get up form 2nd sujood of 1st or 3rd rakkah we say takbeer and then sit for a while as Jalsa Al-Istiraahah. Then we get up for 2nd or 4th rakkah, so while standing up for 2nd or 4th rakkah after Jalsa Al-Istiraahah we have to say takbeer again or not?

What is the Islamic ruling on tooth fairy as my sister plays the game on her children and my sister said she didn’t believe in the tooth fairy as she will put the money there. Is she still a Muslim as I told her kids that it isn’t real but they small and won’t listen.

ANSWER: You had no right in spying on him like this. If you want to end your marriage, you can talk to your parents or anyone else. However, this is considered slandering and in Islam you should be flogged 80 lashes for failing to bring 4 male muslim witnesses testifying that he was committing adultery.

In Ramadan I pray taraweeh in a masjid where they conclude the taraweeh with witr I also wake up 1 hour before fajr to pray tahajjud salah And I know there is no 2 witr in one night So when should I pray the witr? Can I pray witr after taraweeh and sleep;and then wake up for tahajjud and pray tahajjud Or should I just pray taraweeh in the masjid and leave the masjid when witr salah is going on a

ANSWER: Pray the witr with the imam in the masjid and pray tahajjud after getting up without repeating the witr.
