ANSWER: Stock options is a form of gambling due to the ambiguity involved.

I live in Canada. I did Zina two times. I repented. People saw me doing the zina. They are saying to get the hudd punishment. When I go to Hajj one day will I have to tell the authorities that I did Zina two times? WIll my hajj be accepted by Allah if I dont tell the authorties that I did zina two times? I am afraid that I might get the hudd punishment for doing zina.

ANSWER: You must not confess to anyone or tell anyone as this is totally prohibited and Allah will not forgive your sin if you do so.

I am going to Makkah Al-Mukarramah on job visa. I believe that I have to do Ihram from my country as meka’at with Umrah for the first time entry there. ANSWER: There is no problem in coming without the intention to do umrah as your main purpose of coming here is job. You can do umrah later on in sha Allah.

Sheikh when I’m exempted from offering salah my mother asks me to pretend to follow my usual routine of offering salah. So is a menstruating woman supposed to pretend that she’s not menstruating and hide it from her brother and father? Is it like something that should be kept private?

ANSWER: It’s totally prohibited to pretend to pray when you’re actually not praying! Some scholars have termed it as kufr!

Sheikh, there are so many lizards in my home which tend to annoy me and my family members. They also occasionally come near the food plates and roam around in our kitchen. They also comes in our clothes closest. I want to ask, are we allowed to kill them?

ANSWER: Yes, infact, you are rewarded for killing them as it is highly recommended.

If the Mahr has not been fulfilled (as it was agreed to be done later after the nikkah), does it invalidate the nikkah?

ANSWER: No. This does not invalidate the nikah. It’s a debt on the husband, he must give it and if he fails to do it, it must be first taken from his inheritance (if he is dead) and given to the wife.

Sheikh, I took about a 40 second interruption while doing ghusl. When I came back to finish the ghusl, my body was still wet. Ghusl valid?
