QUESTION: I aim for the generous reward mentioned for Friday prayer by completing the following: Doing ghusl, cleansing oneself, going to the mosque early, walking to the mosque and not riding, sitting close to the Imam, listening attentively to the khutbah and not fidgeting. Do I also have to walk back home after the prayer to attain this reward, or is it ok to get a ride back?

ANSWER: No problem in taking a ride back. However, if you walk, you are still rewarded for every step you make.

QUESTION: I’m very much addicted in listening to Urdu naats of a beautiful famous teenage boy. His name is Ghulam Mustafa Qadri. I suspect he is from the berelvi sect. But i skip/avoid those parts of naats when i smell shirk. Like chanting ya rasullah. Is it shirk? And will i commit kufr if i just listen not saying in mouth.

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to listen to nasheeds from such sufi barelvi people as they would contain shirk. Even without shrik, it corrupts the heart and hardens it and one would prefer listening to it than listening to the Quran.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to donate in a masjid which is not ahle hadees. Like they are the ones who do Fatiha. Can we support them in construction of masjid and their madrasa and will we be rewarded? In which masjid we aren’t supposed to donate? Urgently we need the answer as a masjid needs our help.

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to donate to masjids or madrasahs of deviant aqeedah and innovations as this would be assisting and collaborating in their sins.

QUESTION: Can I do tayammum in an airplane even there’s a small washroom available but It’s so hard to make wudu there especially the legs sometimes the water will drip to the airplane floor after our use which others may not feel okay

ANSWER: This is not permissible. You must make ablution when water is available. You can do wudu before leaving the house for the airport and wear socks and can wipe over them when renewing your wudu, instead of washing the feet.

QUESTION: My question is that when I’ve completed tashahhud and not reciting anything, do I still keep my finger moving and looking at it till the imam says salam or do I put it down and look at the place of prostration?
