QUESTION: If my mom was praying and her awara (legs) were shown and I didn’t tell her. Do I have to tell her to repeat the prayer?

ANSWER: You must tell her to adjust her clothes to cover her awrah and you are sinful for not doing so. If she didn’t notice or was unaware, her prayer is valid in Sha Allah.

QUESTION: Sheikh, is it allowed for us to pass urine in the urinals standing making sure it doesn’t splash on us? as the toilet seats in public & office restrooms are always very dirty.

ANSWER: This is permissible providing no one else can see your awrah and that you cleanse yourself properly afterwards.

QUESTION: We know according to the night journey of the prophet peace be upon him that he saw different prophets in different levels of jannah. If this is true that different prophets will be in different levels on jannah, meaning prophets of Allah will not be in the highest level of jannah, what chance do we have in getting highest level of jannah?

ANSWER: No, it’s not obligatory but it’s highly recommended.

QUESTION: One day while praying ‘Asr in the mosque, the Imam mistakenly sat in the 3rd rakah and recited Tashahhud. I initially got up and stood but later sat down again when I saw that the Imam did not rise up for the “4th rakah” but I did not recite the tashahhud in the 3rd rakah like the Imam. The Imam along with everyone of us offered sujood-as-sahw before concluding the prayer. Did I do anything wrong?

QUESTION: Music is haram but if the song is sang in Arabic or someone puts Arabic subtitles on that song etc does it become even more haram? Like is it disrespecting the language or more bad than just using any other language? Or is it the same level of haram for every language?

ANSWER: The best time to seek forgiveness is before the break of dawn at night.

QUESTION: My question is that is the prayer of a smoker not accepted for forty days like that of a person drinking alcohol.
