Sheikh when i do wudu and rub my fingers through the beard, non muslims around me stare at me and i get uncomfortable because of that. So if i do it in a way that they don’t stare at me, is it shirk?

ANSWER: This is not shirk however, it may be a weakness of Islam. Be proud of your Islam and make wudu normally! Who cares who is watching or what they say? When they walk nude, do they care of what you think of them?

I am from turkey and here, they don’t wait for people at all after they give the adhan of maghrib, and if I am sitting in my home and I hear the adhan and go to the masjid, I will most likely catch one rakah only if I go fast or I will miss the whole prayer, so what should I do when I hear the maghrib adhan in my house? Should I go or make a jamah in my house?

ANSWER: Leave earlier before the athan is called. This is what you usually do when you have a flight! You don’t wait until the gates are closed but rather go early.

A friend of mine is currently in his friend circle where his friends are mostly involved in backbiting and using abusive language. He has thought of giving up on them, but as a Muslim and a friend, He has tried to change them, but they have responded negatively and have called him out for his own sins He wants to know whether he should leave the group or not?

ANSWER: Yes, he should. If you put a good apple in a rotten box of apples, that rotten apple will not succeed in fixing the rotten apples. It will become rotten itself quickly like the rest.

Sheikh, when I speak with some people here, they have the habit to make du’a on others as a joke.. Like for example if you say something funny, they laugh and say: May Allah ruin you. Or may you be handicapped. I don’t like it when they say this to me… Are their du’as accepted?

What is the age range to be considered as old-age for parents as we cannot say even ufff to them during old age

ANSWER: There is no specific age range. The bottom line is, you never say uff to them even if they are in their thirties.

Sheikh I want to ask if a woman gets wet dream during periods and she doesn’t perform ghusl during periods due to some reasons I know she can not read Quran but what about morning evening and night azkar and also tasbeehat…. As azkar also include 4 quls and last 2 ayah of surah bakarah….can a woman do that

ANSWER: Think about hellfire and seek refuge in Allah from the accursed satan and get up and do something halal and constructive.

Sheikh we are ahle hadith we pray but we have other bad habits that we are hooked on to and its like a norm we watch movies listen to music. Sometimes we stay away from these things and then again we get back to it due to boredom or just for passing time but we do pray. Please advice what to do and many people who are ahle hadees by aqeedah they do such things like it’s a norm and culture.

ANSWER: This is not the norm, you can’t justify your sins by claiming that everyone does it! Going to hell with the rest of the people won’t make it any easier for you or them!
