QUESTION: Mr. Imam by mistakenly stood up in the fourth rakat of Asr prayer, even though Muktati tried to alert the Imam from behind.But mr. Imam concluded the prayer with Sahu Sijda in the 5th Rakat. In this situation, under the pressure of the muktatis,Mr. Imam recited the Asr Salah again. I want to know your opinion.

ANSWER: It is not permissible for the followers to stand up for the 5th rakah with him. They should finish their prayers on their own.

QUESTION: I am to catch a flight soon and I’m worried about not being able to pray esha on time. Can I combine and pray esha at maghrib time? Similarly on my way to the airport there is a risk of not being able to pray asr on time, again can I pray asr at zuhr time and combine? Also upon reaching destination I will be there for 7/8 days can I combine prayers while I am there for those 7/8 days

ANSWER: 1- You must pray on time if you did not start your journey yet. If you fear that you will arrive to your destination after the isha time is over and you can’t pray properly on the airplane, and your flight is before isha time starts, you can combine isha to your maghreb.

QUESTION: If I miss some part of azan .. Shall I reply to the rest of the azan?

ANSWER: Begin from the beginning what you had missed until you reach with the Mo’athin and then continue with him.

QUESTION: I was eating chicken and when I was biting the bone and broke it I tasted blood and I think I have more of this chicken in my fridge is eating it halal and I think we are not allowed to drink animal blood

ANSWER: No problem in this as this is not the blood that’s forbidden. What’s forbidden is the blood that comes out when you slaughter the animal.

QUESTION: I stay in an area where majority of Muslims are of Ibadi sect. All mosques around my house have Ibadi imams. There is an Egyptian mosque but it’s far from where I stay. I take my family there on Friday’s only. It is difficult to pray 5 times there due to distance. Is it better for me to pray at home or go to nearby Ibadi mosque for 5 daily prayers?

ANSWER: Pray at home as its not permissible to pray behind an ibadi imam.

QUESTION: If I backbit about someone and repented sincerely and never backbit again, and are too shameful to go up to them as I don’t want to cause problems, On the day of judgement will my good deeds still go to that person and I take their bad deeds even if Allah has forgiven me?

ANSWER: Allah is the Most Merciful and only He knows. In shaa Allah He will forgive you. Keep thinking positive, showing remorse and asking Him for forgiveness.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to exchange coins to paper money from the same currency and pay the bank 7 Euros as an exchange fee or use a machine that does the same thing but takes 10% from the coins as an exchange fee.

ANSWER: Simply throw it away. Only the name of Allah when written in Arabic or ayahs of the Quran in Arabic must be treated with utmost respect, other papers that you mentioned can be thrown away.

QUESTION: Sheykh, whats the ruling on dhikr after prayer? Do we have to sit there or can we stand up after prayer but should not talk before completing the dhikr? Does this affects the rewards for the dhikr?

ANSWER: The best is to say the dhikr right after praying the fard, sitting in the same spot. However, you can say it while standing or walking out.

QUESTION: If someone don’t sin infront of someone religious, people degrade him by saying u fear him but u don’t fear Allah and same with secret Sinning and openly Sinning though, openly Sinning is more bad ,PlZZ advise how should we advise ourselves &these people,

ANSWER: This is not true! One is ashamed of sinning in front of others as we are ordered to conceal our sins in front of people. As for sinning between us and allah, this is human weakness and May Allah forgive our shortcomings.
