QUESTION: Sheikh, I am currently in an indecisive situation right now. I have had many people come to ask for my hand in marriage however, I rejected them because I haven’t really had an interest in any of them. So there is someone else who is now asking for my hand in marriage and I’m not sure if I should settle to avoid disappointing my mother again, or if I should remain patient.

QUESTION: In my country, in like 99% of masajid they pray taraweeh 4 rak’ah with one tasleem and a lot of the imams know that it should be prayed 2+2. Is it permissible to pray there? Maybe lot of people are asking you this question, but I apologize!

QUESTION: A boy got a illness for which his face crooked to the left. On this incident,a brother was saying, There’s a hadith,”There will come punishment on this ummah like landslide, Distortion of appearance/face, thrown from above when singing, music and drinking will wide spread among people”.Is it ok to relate this hadith on such illness/incident?

ANSWER: It’s your choice, but if you gift them then it must be for real and not to get away from paying zakat! It would belong to them and not you anymore.

QUESTION: If we are reciting Surah Fatiha not in salah but normally as a dikhr we have to say Ameen after finishing recitation or not?

QUESTION: Sheikh all masjids in area are barelvi. Ahle sunnah masjid are very far from home. So on friday can i pray juma in barelvi masjid? I can’t find ahle sunnah people to make my own congregation.

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible. You must go to the sunnah masjid for Friday even if its far since its only once a week.

QUESTION: The imam in the closest masjid prays very fast and i am not able to concentrate, no khushu’, and the breathing gets fast too feels like i am literally running, so should i pray at home or still pray at the masjid?

ANSWER: You should go to the other masjid or join the following congregation of late comers. Praying home is for women, children and sick.

QUESTION: Sheikh, there is this man I want to marry but I’m Sunni and he’s Shia so there would be a lot of complications. My question is what would we teach our children and how could we pray together? I’m a Sunni female and he’s Shia male. I’ve made a lot of dua to marry this man but I’m worried about how life would be when we settle in.

ANSWER: It’s totally prohibited for you to marry a deviant shia and it would be invalid and you would be living in zina and the children born would be illegitimate children!
