ANSWER:

No problem in breastfeeding for 2 and a half years (hijri calendar), you should not go beyond that. 

QUESTION: My son is 2 years old now….am still breastfeeding him..our doctor suggested us not to stop all of a sudden….some says, it is only allowed to breastfeed upto 2 years according to Islam and should not exceed that ..is that true??
