ANSWER: This is permissible and there is no sin in that as long as he fulfills his wife’s rights. However, this is not normal unless the couple are fine with it.

ANSWER: Oaths that must be expiated are oaths over things in the future such as wallahi I will do this or I won’t do that. Oaths over things in the past don’t require expiation. If a person lied on purpose, this is sinful and known as “dipping” oath that dips the person in hell.
