QUESTION: If I do wudu and wear my socks then I take them off can I wear socks again and wipe over them or must I wash my feet like normal when doing wudu

ANSWER: If you are still in the state of wudhu from the original wudhu which you had washed your feet in, you can wear another pair and still wipe over it. But if you had broken your wudhu and then took off your socks and wore another one, you can’t wipe on that.

ANSWER: If the fragrance can be smelled by others, this is totally prohibited but if its very very mild and no one can smell it then no problem.

QUESTION: My question is I have asked my wife not to do hijab at home when I am at home and when her father is around because I want to see her without hijab. But my wife says she will do it in front of her father as an act of respect because this is what she did as an act of respect. What are your thoughts on this?

ANSWER: What she’s doing is wrong. There is no such hijab in front of her mahrams. If she insists, tell her not to allow her father in the house!

QUESTION: I teach kids online. They pay monthly in advance. sometimes some of kids go on holiday 4 a month & I still charge. Some parents don’t mind paying when absent & some don’t want to pay, so is it ok if I charge some & don’t charge the ones who don’t want to pay?

ANSWER: Yes. We do this as the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam did it and exposed himself to rain.

QUESTION: I wanted to clarify in regards to following someone only with their permission on instagram and then seeing their pictures. I meant that if I followed someone where they post pictures of themselves, but their acc is private. Is it halal to still follow them?

ANSWER: If she is of the same gender as you and she allows you to watch her page and it is halal what she is posting, this is permissible. But if she is posting haram photos or you are not a female, this is prohibited even if she permits you.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to give charity on behalf of alive non muslim parents (hoping even though they won’t be directly rewarded for it as Kafirs but charity also has other benefits so it could be beneficial for them)?
