Sheikh if I’m offering sunnah prayer of fajr at home and going to the masjid and yet some minutes are left for jamat then do I have to pray tahiyatul masjid?

ANSWER: If you want to sit down, you must pray it. Otherwise, no problem in standing.

Is it sunnah to say basmala before everything good, including going into the masjid?

ANSWER: No, it is not a sunnah in everything but it is a good thing to begin doing things with saying Bismillah unless it was reported that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi sa sallam didn’t say it.

is it true that after every 5 prayers there are individual surahs to read? if yes, then what are they?

ANSWER: One should recite the last three Quls once after every prayer except for maghreb and Fajr where one recites them 3 times each.

Is the name “ALI” of the names of Allah , if it is would it be allowed for a Person to say “YA ALI” with the intention to call allah . Because the Shia say “ya Ali” do call upon the Sahabi Ali ra.

ANSWER: Al- Ali is one of the beautiful names of Allah, muslims can use this name in Duaa, and in calling Allah, but what shiaa does by saying “ya ali” is a pure shirk, because they call Ali bin Abi Talib but not Allah.

Sheikh my question is.. when we are involved in such gatherings where there is lot of music and dance .. so how to deal in that situation ? I didn’t want to be there but unfortunately I reach in such gathering .. then how to deal Please let me know
