When I enter masjid, Isha prayer is over, they started taraweeq, my question is should I join taraweeq immediately in congregation, then pray Isha at last or else I will finish Isha then join in congregation?

ANSWER: You must join the Imam in taraweeh with the intention of praying Isha, when he concludes his prayer, you get up and finish your remaining two rakahs of Isha.

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible. Zakat should be given in cash to poor and needy Muslims and they will do whatever they want with it.

Firstly thank u so much for replying my queries, Allah bless you.I heard that condition of paying zakat is the custody of amount 1 lunar year.like in last Ramadan I had 1lakh and in this ramzan few months back I collected some amount and now is 1.4 lakh ,so I will pay zakah on 1lakh as this amount I had for whole year.Am I right?

ANSWER: You pay the zakat over what a full lunar year finished which is the one lakh. However, it is best if you unite the date for all what you have whether it came a year ago or few months ago as keeping track with which came when is difficult if not impossible.

ANSWER: The deceased suffers from their weeping and wailing but this is not a punishment from Allah but rather a hardship he suffers from like the hardship one suffers when traveling.

ANSWER: I don’t know about the circumstances and whether such an attraction is halal or haram as it seems that you are looking at her while you are ordered to lower your gaze and it also seems that you are interested in chitchatting and may be dating her for a starter! This is totally prohibited.

My cousin wanted to give iftar in the masjid for my father who have passed away 8 month ago. He says to my mother that my father is going to get the rewards. People will pry for him after iftar and he will be benefited. Is is true? Or this is an innovation?

ANSWER: Giving iftar is a good deed and the deceased will benefit from it. Asking people to make Duaa for him is an innovation.

ANSWER: You pay it on all the savings you have had in your possession for over a lunar year providing it reaches the nisab and you have access to it.

Honestly I wish to take advantage of this blessed month of Ramadan. But I’m always afflicted with a heavy sleep after the prayer of Fadjr that prevents me from being involved in lots of acts of worship. I really think it’s a trap of Shaytan. Help me out please Sheickh!

ANSWER: No problem in sleeping after Fajr. You can perform several acts of worship when you wake up by reading Quran, giving in charity, the sky is the limit! If you sleep early at night, you will be able to stay awake.
