Here in Morocco there are many beggars, men and women, that dont pray in the mosque but just sit outside the doors and ask people for money when they enter or leave the mosque Is it permissible to give them money if they dont pray In the mosque? ANSWER: There’s no need to argue with them. Just don’t give them any money as they’re mostly professional beggars. Give your charity to deserving poor muslims from your family or acquaintances or our brothers and sisters in Syria, Gaza, Burma etc.

ANSWER: It’s not your duty at all to live with them or serve them. You have all the right to have a separate accommodation.

A person broke his fast several years ago without a valid reason when he wasn’t practicing. Does he have to do anything other making up the fast like feeding the poor?

ANSWER: There’s nothing else to do other than make up that fast, besides repenting sincerely to Allah for this major sin.

ANSWER: It is not compulsory. However exchanging gifts is part of the Sunnah.

I am intending to fast for the 6 days of Shawwal!I want to do these fasts every Friday & Saturday because those are my off days & thus I can include a lot extra worship such as reciting Al-Quraan,Dhikr,nafl prayers etc. at the state of fasting.But I have been told not to fast on Fridays as it considered to be weekly Eid(!!!).Please Advise!

ANSWER: You must not single out Friday or Saturday to fast these days. You can however fast on both Friday and Saturday, together.

when i sit and recite the quran ,i read a verse of sajda…do i need to stand up and do the taqbeerathul ihram then ruqu then one sajda or can i do only the sajda without standing up for the taqbeer?

ANSWER: You should make the sajda without standing up or raising hands. You should simply say the takbeer from your sitting position and make one sajda and no takbeer while coming back from it. This Sajda is recommended but it is not mandatory,

I was intending to keep the 6 fasts of Shawwal every alternate day. Is that permissible or should I keep them one after the other when I start the first one?

ANSWER: You can keep them whenever you want, throughout the whole month. It’s not required that they must be continuous. However, you must not single Friday or Saturday out.

I had miscarriages last year. The fetus was only 1month old . But After that i have very abnormal periods that last for a long time. After 10days i do ghusl and start praying 5 farz namaaz. Can i also pray nafeel ibaadah like tahajjud, tarawee, eid namaaz, tazbee of Quranic ayats , recite Quran by seeing and fast my missed farz fasts???
