I am aware that we have to respect our parents & Allah says be humble never say uff.If parents & grandparents follow cultural tradition like kids should bend down & say Salam, going to graveyard & putting flowers on grave. I have noticed if I try to say that its not right thing to do they get upset saying now kids will teach us right and wrong. How to deal in such cases pls help.

ANSWER: You must advise them diplomatically with good manners, knowledge, and wisdom and never cross the line of respect. However, you must never compromise your religion or give in to their pressure.

a restaurant(talking abt non muslim country) they say we have halal chicken and every thing including ingredients are halal and they have bacon also but they say sumtimes we use same tools like mostly tongs for both chicken and bacon.. question is.. in this situation we can eat that restaurant’s food??

ANSWER: This is not permissible. A Muslim woman must be covered from head to toe. She must wear the hijab and a loose fitting outer garment that conceals the entire shape and bone structure of her body during her salah.

My sister sends her 8 year old to a non-Muslim school as there are no Islamic schools in her town. The school celebrates non-Muslim festivals, has regular singing, glorifies witchcraft and serves non-halal meat. My sister thinks it’s not so serious because her daughter is still young.
