Kind Treatment of Spouses

My husband is a wonderful man who prays regularly. But his sleep is deep and sometimes it’s difficult to wake him up for prayers. How much responsibility is it on me to keep trying? Should I keep trying? Please let me know. I really struggle with this.

ANSWER: You must just wake him up once or twice and if he doesn’t wake up even after that then the sin is on him as you had done your job.

As a house wife i tend to save aome money from monthly house expense n over the period Alhamdolillah i have saved enough but I would like to invest this money so that my money can grow and the easiest i find is fixed deposit but the shariah doesn’t allow, so please can you guide where can I invest according to sunnah.

ANSWER: Of course this is haram and he is sinful, as this is the wife’s property and he cannot demand it or take it back without her consent. He is like a dog that vomits and then goes back and eat its vomit.

ANSWER: She is right! You should compliment your wife as this means a lot to them. You should praise her even if you don’t like her food or don’t like how she looks as this is something where you are even allowed to lie!

ANSWER: This is not permissible as spying is prohibited in Islam. If he is remorseful over what he had done and he wants to be with you and his children, forgive him for the sake of Allah as by not doing this, you will be letting Shaytan destroy your marriage and life.

If I advise my wife to do something, and she says this is between me and Allah. And that she will take responsibility. Is my responsibility complete? If I advise her but not force her? Because they say there is no compulsion in religion.

ANSWER: Things that are obligatory, you should compel her to do. It is your duty to save her and your family from Hell Fire. Other things such as voluntary acts, you may tell her to do and if she does not do, it’s her responsibility.
