Things that are obligatory, you should compel her to do. It is your duty to save her and your family from Hell Fire. Other things such as voluntary acts, you may tell her to do and if she does not do, it’s her responsibility.

If I advise my wife to do something, and she says this is between me and Allah. And that she will take responsibility. Is my responsibility complete? If I advise her but not force her? Because they say there is no compulsion in religion.
