A friend of mine lives in a Christian dominant society. He’s a practicing Muslim, but everytime there’s a Christmas/Easter Discount on products, he avails that. As these events are associated with Shirk, is it permissible for him to do this?

My daughter is 4 months and I have just been told the routine vaccinations they give here (UK) contain pork gelatine. Would we need to have a blood transfusion or anything to cleanse? If needed to be cleansed. And if they are needed for really dangerous health threat is it allowed to be taken?

Im working in ice factory as sales man & sometimes shia customers come to buy ice for their mat’am to put in juice. Am i sinful for selling ice to them ? Im not owner of factory and working as salesman.

While eating, if something gets stuck between our teeth , is it permissible to remove it n eat it back again? Because I heard it’s against the sunnah.

It’s really hard these days to finance further education. If parents are short of funds, students are forced to take student loans which they can pay after completing their education. What can one do to avoid interest in such loans?

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible as a woman cannot travel without her mahram. Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam forbade this and said a woman who believes in Allah and the day of judgment must not travel without her mahram.

I argue with one of my senior university brother about halal/haram profit.but i failed.we study abroad.He’s own brother send money to him for buy some products from the manufacture.he buy products and take little amount of profit for himself(senior brother).(15% from his own brother profit).hi’s own brother don’t know.he says he waste time for going other cities and etc. Q:Is it haram or halal?

ANSWER: This is totally haram and betrayal of his trust. If his brother knew about this, he might never speak with him. If he requires a profit for his time and effort, he must ask for it before hand and if he agrees, so be it.

As a laboratory technician in a hospital, I used to help my family to do analysis without my bosses being aware. But I would like to know if this is prohibited in Islam?

ANSWER: If you’re an Indian then of course it is permissible to live there as not all Indian Muslims or all the Muslims living in non muslim countries can migrate to Muslim countries as this is not possible at all.
